Sponsored by Iminin Technologies and the Entertainment Technology Center, the i3 team created a two story exhibit which showcased ImininTech's latest innovations at Carnegie Mellon University's 2010 Spring Carnival.

This installation featured cutting edge immersive technology such as a custom-made interactive multi-touch floor and an industrial motion platform.

Iminin Technologies has been a leader in the biotechnology industry since its formal inception in 2001.

The Backstory

i3 (formerly Immersive & Interactive Installations) was our pitch project for the Spring 2010 semester at the ETC.

Our goals were to:
• Build/run/strike a themed attraction for CMU's Spring Carnival.
• Develop and test two new hardware platforms for the ETC.
• a 6'x6' motion floor & a custom built 4'x8' multi-touch floor.
• Create an installation for Attack Theatre's Dirty Ball fundraiser.
• Promote the ETC.

For Spring Carnival we developed a story around a made-up client, ImininTechnologies. This was to have an antagonist in our experience without making our real sponsor, the Entertainment Technology Center, the villian.
